Click image for a larger viewA long-time resident of upper East Tennessee, I've been creating fine American craft for many years.  An experienced turner, and boxmaker, I enjoy working with only the finest timbers that nature has to offer.  Trees and the timbers that they produce are beautiful.  It is our responsibility as craftsmen and artists to enhance and display that inherent beauty, while honoring the desires of our clients.  I only work with fine timbers that are hand-selected for each of my projects.  A project is not worth doing unless it is with the finest materials.  If you would like something  made special just for you, don't hesitate to ask. I will ask lots of questions to be sure you get what you desire.

Only a very small percentage of my original timbers end up as waste.  Cutoffs are recycled into small turning projects such as pens, bottle stoppers, and small bowls.  Sawdust from my shop is composted for use as a renewable resource. When you buy one of my items, you can be sure that parts of the same timber are being used in another project or given away to other wood artisans.  The scraps that I throw away are truly too small to work with.  Any other approach would be a waste of fine timber.

Woodworking is a journey that we take through life, and the destination is never fully achieved. Every artisan, from novice to master, can learn something new every day. If you are a beginner, please feel free to contact me for help. I'd be honored to help you on your journey.

Shipping and Return Policy

There are many shipping options, but for most items, I ship by Fedex Ground. For pens, I will often ship US Postal. Shipping charges are added automatically in the checkout process. For very large orders, I normally offer free shipping. I will occasionally give quantity discounts, so contact me if you would like multiples of a single item.

Upon shipping, I carefully inspect every piece for quality and function. However, if an item you have purchased turns out to be defective or does not function properly, I will be happy to replace it, or offer you a refund upon it's return. I am unable to accept returns on any item unless there is a specific problem.

For custom orders, I require a 50% deposit before I can put the project on the schedule. The deposit is not refundable once I have purchased materials.

If you would like to contact me about an order, special project, or would like to inquire about private classes, you may use this form below, or email me and I will return your message as soon as possible.
